Although most of Calvin's day is pretty unpredictable, one thing is certain- we will have a happy, content little boy early in the morning. He loves to quietly stare out our bedroom window gazing at the bright sun that shines through our dark striped curtains. It's so darn sweet. Since the afternoons are sleepy around here and the evenings tend to take a turn for the fussier side of life, I can't help but treasure our quiet mornings basking in the sun together. It's my absolute favorite part of the day.
As a side note- don't his pajamas crack you up? We call them his "Peter Pan nightgowns". These nightgowns are seriously the best thing that has ever happened to 3am diaper changes- love em!!
