Although the nursery is still a work in progress, we have come a long way in the past few weeks. Here's what's going on in the nursery these days...
Baby's dresser/changing table. We figured we would set up a changing station for when the kiddo is in diapers and then still have a functional dresser once he's older.
Here's the little man's crib and paper lantern "mobile". I'm hoping he will spend hours on end in awe of these colorful lanterns. Hey- a mom can dream can't she? The wall behind the crib is a chalkboard which will hopefully get lots of use someday!
After changing out the bedding to something a little more fun, we finally decided on this colorful pattern.
A cute little poster I found at Ikea. We are having fun with the little "numbers and robots" theme we have going on.
And of course, a few other pieces I just have to show off.
I know, I know- we are really getting this nursery together prematurely but hey- I'm excited!! (and busy trying to keep myself from thinking about Christmas and all things winter). But let's be honest, fall is already flying by and the holidays will be here before we know it. A head start certainly can't hurt. See how easily I rationalize my type A-ness?What's left? I would ideally like to find a large shag area rug, a few things for the walls, and little lamp to go next to the rocker (which we scored a great deal on at Wal-Mart). I am also obsessed with this abacus from CB2 which I would like to hang over the dresser. So fun!
I have a feeling these next three months are going to fly by...

Such a stylish nursery for the little man! Loved seeing this in real life. He´s going to be one cool, little dude!
