Meet My Fancy New Camera

Here she is....

I know what you are thinking. What happened to the beautiful camera Jessica was hoping to get on Black Friday?! Well, after a crazy night of shopping the Black Friday sales there were no amazing deals on the camera we were hoping to get. However, this sweet little sewing machine was calling my name at Target at 4am this Friday. Impulse buy you say? Of course it was.. but I must say that I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Sure she's still in the box. I will be properly wrapping her up and placing her under our Christmas tree awaiting the morning when I will open the box with a look of pure shock and excitement! I have always wanted to take on a few simple sewing projects and have been inspired by my much more talented sister and sister in law for years!

And what will my first sewing project be you ask? Why I will be working on whipping up a gorgeous, ruffled, funky patterned camera strap for my NEW CANON T1i CAMERA!! Yes ladies and gents, we made the big purchase this morning on "Cyber Monday" (although we purchased in store). This little gift was begging to be opened already and I just had to oblige! I am SO EXCITED to get snapping with this baby and start playing with all of the accessories it came with!!
