I have been waiting for it all summer.
A Twins game.
In the brand new stadium.
My last summer wish finally came true this past weekend!
Let me tell you, there is nothing better than sitting in an outdoor ballpark, shivering in your Twins gear and watching some good ole baseball. (Okay okay, it would have been that much better if the Twinkies actually won but I won't complain when playoffs are weeks away!!) Only those who have spent countless years in the dome will be able to appreciapte this gorgeous outdoor stadium. Baseball was truly meant to be experienced in the rain, snow or shine. Fortunately for us, we missed the snow this time!!
Who better to share my "first" game than my ever loving Twins fan of a dad. I was able to experience and appreciate the uniqueness of the ballpark with an actual Twins history expert! haha. We had such a great time and I honestly loved learning all about the history of this well thought out and incredibly unique "ballpark" (I was seriously scolded after calling it a "stadium" and now know much better than to make the mistake twice).
Now on to the playoffs!
