Summer cannot come to an end without a good camping trip. Last weekend we headed up to northern IL to spend the weekend camping on Lake Michigan and get in touch with our inner boy scout.
Our morning was spent rock collecting and relaxing on the beach
we toured around the town and made an obligatory ice cream stop
and spent the evening walking along the lake
followed by a night of roasting marshmallows and laughing around the campfire.
There's no better way to say goodbye to summer...
