Calvin's cousin Sawyer (and his family, of course) came to Chicago for a visit last week. While it may have taken the majority of the week for Calvin and Sawyer to warm up to each other, I am happy to announce that these cousins are officially something more.. friends.
The turning point seemed to be a trip to the zoo. After wandering aimlessly through the primate house together and bonding over their mutual love for fish, they seemed to finally understand that they had more in common than not.
Over the following few days, Calvin learned to give Sawyer his space when he needed it and Sawyer learned that Cal's shrieking was just a fact of life. By the end of the week, they were total buddies.
Tunnel crawling, dance partying, rough housing, squealing and laughing, buddies. I can't wait to watch these two grow up together. Thanks for a great week, Johnson's. Calvin has been patiently (yet frequently) checking the front door for your return!

This is hilarious...and so true! That dance party really set things off so next time we'll have to start the visit out that way. Those two goofs!!!
